Many of Donald Perdue's bronze castings are made with the lost wax or "cire perdu" process. Careful attention is paid to the patina process - with Canada Goose In Flight (a limited edition commission for the National Audubon Society), the patina is applied by hand.
Others, like the figurative miniature Reclining Figure II, and the unique modernist casting Oracle VI feature highly polished, mirror-finish surfaces.
